Attempts to Rally, Looks for Direction
EUR/USD attempted to advance today, but trimmed its gains and currently trades in a range. The European Union released the bailout for Greece, improving the outlook for the eurozone. At the same time, fears of the fiscal cliff in the United States eat away confidence of Forex traders, weakening the currency pair. US consumer prices are falling, according to today’s report, and that does not help either.

Rally of EUR/USD Ends on Poor Data & Spanish Debt Auction
EUR/USD ended its five-day rally today, after reaching the highest level since October 17, as the macroeconomic data from Europe was poor and Spain failed to reach target on its debt auction. The US data was a bit better, though not stellar either. On the positive side, factory orders unexpectedly grew and the services sector expanded faster than expected. On the negative side, employment growth was slower that market participants have hoped for.

EUR/USD Gains as Finance Ministers Talk About Greece
EUR/USD erased its losses today on hopes that European finance ministers will reach an agreement about a bailout for Greece. Earlier, the currency pair dropped as yesterday’s talks between the finance chiefs failed to deliver any meaningful outcome. The US economic reports were largely positive today, but fears of possible tax increases and spending reduction restrained consumers’ confidence.

Investment bank of the Week: UBS
Two high-profile mandates on deals worth more than $30bn combined are set to keep UBS’s capital markets and M&A bankers busy while they await news of further restructuring at the Swiss bank.
Thames Water this week appointed UBS to source financing for the construction of its controversial Thames Tideway Tunnel, which is intended to replace London’s creaking Victorian sewerage system.
The project, for which the UK government will act as backstop should it overrun or cost more than current estimates of £4.1bn ($6.6bn), is likely to involve both debt and equity financing and is expected to take seven years to complete.
Trade of the Week: Asia bores a hole in Mulberry
Falling international sales amid a wave of retrenchment from Asian buyers saw British luxury goods maker Mulberry issue a severe profit warning this week, sending the stock crashing by 30% on Tuesday – and offering a smart return for those with a short interest in the stock.
The news caught the market off-guard. According to a survey by Thomson Reuters, no analyst had a sell rating on the stock in the run-up to this week. Mulberry has a mean rating of buy across five analysts, with two strong buys, one buy and two holds.
That meant the stock was not high on many short sellers' radars in the run-up to Tuesday; only 0.65% of Mulberry’s total shares were out on loan as of last week, according to Markit Data Explorers.

EUR/USD Resumes Downfall on Moody’s Downgrades
EUR/USD sank today, following yesterday’s gains, and resumed its downfall that had started on October 18. Moody’s Investors Service downgraded credit ratings of five Spanish regions, even though the rating agency maintained the sovereign rating of Spain itself last week. Adding to the negative sentiment, the US manufacturing index went unexpectedly to the negative territory.

Make the decision
Let's talk how to make the decision on an entrance in the transaction.
Quite discussed question at forums about trade on FOREX — how to make the decision on an entrance in the transaction. Users create subjects, there is an exchange of opinions … Often answers are useless, since everyone describes an entrance in the market, leaning on the HARDWARE. And it is true, however is absolutely useless for others which don't know this system and don't understand, why on crossing of any lines it is necessary to buy to (sell) to pair.

How to identify a trend?
How to define this same trend?
What is the trend?
Trend - is the general direction of the market. No market moves in a straight line, so we need to identify a general trend: upward or downward.
Opening of the transaction with the trend helps to increase the chances of success. Of course, the setup Price Action against the trend also fail, sometimes very good, but only trading with the trend, we can be more relaxed, because significantly reduced risk of a loss.

Basic Forex Brokers Primer
Global forex market nearly $2 trillion a day
The global daily forex market – which transacts nearly $2 trillion a day – is almost entirely dominated by large (scratch that, huge!) institutional investors. But that doesn’t mean that there’s no room for the smaller currency traders. Individual traders, accounting for about 2% of the currency market (do the math – that is not chump change!), are the reason that forex brokers number into the thousands – there is plenty of money exchanging hands, and there is a huge demand for qualified, reputable forex brokers.
